TATTOOS - GOOD OR BAD?

Lots of people, like tattoos, including celebrities, and that include ladies also. I have no idea why people fancy tattoos, and I'd like to know how you feel about it. I personally do not favor them, and there will be a cold day in hell before I will have one done on myself. But, somehow a tattoo on a guy, in my opinion, is more acceptable than on a girl. Don't you agree?

Take a look at Marisa Tomei, a tattoo on the foot, and no, it doesn't look terrible, but not great either.



My all time favorite, Megan, I think I read somewhere she has about 13 tattoos on her body. Granted, they do not look bad, nicely done, but what if one day she doesn't want them anymore? How will she ever be able to erase them without a trace? Marked for life....?



Amber Tamblyn, again, not a bad looking tattoo, still....



Alyson Hannigan, first time on my blog, flaunting a tattoo just above her ankle.



Last one, and you will have to take my word for this one, these feet belong to Alyssa Milano, also a first timer, such pretty high heeled sandals, complimenting her feet so nicely, but, and this is purely my opinion, it gets spoiled by the tattoo, and this tattoo I can honestly say, does not look nice.



Please, do not get me wrong, my blog is not about judging people, or bad mouthing anybody, or gossiping, it is a blog purely about opinions and how to improve appearances. So, do you think tattoos improve a person's appearance...? Would an extra piece of jewelery not have done the trick, a ring, a bracelet, a toe ring perhaps, ankle chain, nail varnish, extra color in the outfit, a different hairstyle? Something that can be removed or changed easily when you get tired of it....

Well from where I am sitting, it is Saturday afternoon, and time to relax the rest of the weekend, enjoy the rest of yours.

I'VE BEEN TAGGED!

First time ever! I was tagged by the lovely Joelyne of the sydney girl blogspot Now this was a rather big surprise, so you will understand if I say I was speechless. Not for long however, as I am supposed to give you 10 random facts about me. Tough one...

But here they are, 10 random facts about me:

1. I am sometimes, and only sometimes, a very short tempered person and will jump the gun before giving it proper thought, yeah, I know, I am working on it. In the same breath, I do not hold grudges, I will forgive you soon enough....

2. I love my family, and if harmed in any way, it can easily become a killing matter. In this instance forgiving will take a mite longer, maybe only after I've killed the person who harmed them, will I be able to forgive... :-)

3. I am a morning person, I am up every morning at 5, sometimes even earlier, when everything is quiet in the house, so I can work on my blog. And, I am not a moody person, I wake up in a good mood every day, but do not pee me off first thing in the morning, or make me look for something I cannot find, that changes everything.

4. Yes you guessed it, I like blogging, no I am not addicted to it, but close...

5. I HATE flying!! With a passion, I am scared of heights...

6. I love airplanes, and no I am not contradicting myself, I love planes as long as I can admire them from a distance, I have no desire to fly in them. The same goes for a pair of well shaped legs, I love to admire them from a distance, but I have no desire to touch them, unless said legs belong to my wife of course.. :-)

7. I have no fear for a dentist, but I hate confined spaces, or small, crowded rooms.

8. I love to tease, I love open spaces, I love the sea, I love rain, I love forests and wild animals.

9. Do not stick your finger in my belly button, I hate it almost as much as flying. It is an extremely sensitive spot....and subject for that matter.

10. I love old, classic western movies, or musicals, not going to mention any names, there are way too many.

Well, I guess you know me much better now that I have opened my heart and shared my best kept secrets with you...

THIN STRAPPED, HIGH HEELED SANDALS.

Is it just me, or is there something about thin strapped, high, stiletto heeled, no platformed sandals that is just more sexy, more stylish, more feminine than any other sandal?

Take a look at Gena Lee Nolin here, are those sandals sexy or what? Pity she forgot to add some nail varnish, but those sandals are making a strong statement.



The dress is not something to write home about, to say the least, but those sandals improve on Amick Madchen's looks a mite.

AM I RIGHT?

I am at it again, you tell me if I am wrong.

Like most bloggers, I visit many sites, in order for me to built my site to a respectable size. Now I am sure almost any blogger wants to be proud of his or her site, or is that a stupid assumption? So what I do is, when I think the blog I am visiting is a fair, clean and respectable blog, I will say so and in certain instances request a link, although I will very seldom ask on my first visit.

Now you tell me, if I ask someone to link, and they feel that they do not like my blog, or they think my blog is a stinking, crummy blog and they are not interested in linking, isn't it just common courtesy to come back to me and tell me that they are not crazy about my site? I am not going to go into detail here, or point fingers at specific blogs, but there are many site owners who just don't reply. I always reply to comments on my posts, and as an act of respect I will then also visit the site of the person who commented. I feel that is the least one can do. Apart from that, I shall not refuse to link to another blog unless that blog or site displays pornographic material or nudity. Now don't misunderstand me, I don't consider myself an angel, on the contrary, I know only too well I am not, my wife will confirm that, but I want to keep my readers happy, and I want to keep my site clean.

So, what this boils down to is that I ask all blog authors nicely, if someone requests a link, and you do not feel like linking for what ever reason, say so. I do not expect a reason, I sure no one does, it is your blog, you don't have to improve it if you do not feel like it, but just tell me you do not want to link, easy as that, and I will not bother you again.

Just for the record, linking in my opinion, is an excellent way of promoting your blog right across the world, so if you refuse to link, you are basically shooting yourself in the foot.
