How would you feel if this had to happen to you?

A man and his wife were awakened at 3:00 am by a loud pounding on thedoor. The man gets up and goes to the door where a drunken stranger,standing in the pouring rain, is asking for a push.

'Not a chance,' says the husband, 'it is 3:00 in the morning!'
He slams the door and returns to bed.

'Who was that?' asked his wife.

'Just some drunk guy asking for a push,' he answers.

'Did you help him?' she asks.

'No, I did not, it is 3:00 in the morning and it is pouring rain out there!'

'Well, you have a short memory,' says his wife. 'Can't you remember about three months ago when we broke down, and those two guys helped us?
I think you should help him, and you should be ashamed of yourself!'

The man does as he is told, gets dressed, and goes out into the pounding rain.

He calls out into the dark, 'Hello, are you still there?'

'Yes,' comes back the answer.

'Do you still need a push?' calls out the husband (soaking wet)

'Yes, please!' comes the reply from the dark.

'Where are you?' asks the husband..

'Over here on the swing!' replied the drunk.

Now I think I will kill him.

I would like to wish everyone of my readers a fabulous, prosperous and joyful new year! Let's hope that 2012 will be a much better year than 2011.

SEXY LEGS AND OLDER CELEBS

I do apologize for my long absence but work is taking its toll, and further more, I had finished half a post, and then it just disappeared.

Anyway, more older celebs: Cheryl Ladd (60 this year) is my next choice of an older girl who makes heads turn, and turn girls a third her age green with envy.


Cheryl seen here with Jacklyn Smith, co star in Charlie's Angels. Now I had a huge crush on Jacklyn when she played in Charlie's Angels, but the movie Nightkill really made me "love" her. If I am not mistaken, she is a breast cancer survivor, which of course serves to have so much more respect for her.



Another one of my younger day crushes is heather Locklear, then the star of T J Hooker.



An older Heather, still stunning and sexy!



And then there is the golden oldie, Sophia Loren, she turned 77 on the 20th of September, 2011. Timeless old girl, and still able to make a room full of people hush when she enters.


I think that more or less proves my point that growing older does not mean you have to let yourself go. There are countless ways a girl can stay beautiful and sexy, and I don't mean botox.

SEXY LEGS AND AWARDS.

Now ain't this special, my good friend Bill, author of Beautiful Celebrity Women! thought it wise to pass an award on to me, the Stylish Blogger Award. Thanks Bill, I am honored. I have been called a lot of things in my life, not all of them flattering, but stylish is one name that has never been given me. :) I really do appreciate it.

This is what the award looks like!


I am suppose to let you in on some of my secrets, 7 to be exact.

Then I am supposed to pass it on to 15 other bloggers whom I think deserve this. Problem is, all the bloggers that comment on my site, deserve this award.

Anyway, let's start with the 7 facts about me.

1. I was a police detective for almost 23 years of my life. In those years I have seen the best, but also the worst of life, but I never regretted doing it. I have gained life experience in those 23 years that the average person will not experience in 80 years. I still get nightmares, and even though I do not anymore battle with insomnia per se, I cannot sleep in. I am up just about every morning by 4, and only get back to bed after 10 at night.

2. I always said I will never marry, but I lied coz I married when I was 34. That was my first marriage, big mistake, had no brains yet, so got divorced in 2000, and then married Yolande in 2005. I have brains now.

3. I love action and good western movies, and movies that involves flying or airplanes. Pearl Harbor with Kate Beckinsale my favorite.

4. I am now retired, and make a living by investing in property to rent. A friend of mine and I are writing an e-book at the moment, called Property Investment for Dummies. It is almost ready to release. I will post it on my blog as soon as it is available.

5. I hate flying, yet I love airplanes, I can watch them for hours, and my favorite pass time is to sit at the airport and watch them land and take off. (silly I know, but as one gets older, you become more and more like a child...hehehe....)



6. I never wanted kids, but my wife wanted a little boy. Now that he is a reality, I cannot imagine life without him. We were truly blessed, and I am truly grateful for being blessed with a wonderful family.

Yes, it was cold and wet!





7. I spend too much time in front of my pc, but I love what I am doing. You tell me, which blogger does not spend too much time in front of his or her pc?

I guess that is it, I have opened my heart to you guys, now every one of you that feel he or she has the urge to do so, grab the award, and let us in on some deep down secrets of your life.

Thanks again Bill, now that I have those 7 things off my chest, I feel a whole heap better. :)

AIRSHOW - FASHION WITH A DIFFERENCE.

We have been to an airshow on Saturday. Now I am sure compared to airshows abroad, this was a tiny airshow, but airplanes and flying are passions of mine, (as long as I can watch from down here) so I absolutely loved it.

Please keep in mind that my camera is a little el cheapo, add to that the fact that I am a no account photographer, so this is the only pic I could get of an aircraft in flight, and at the time, the chopper was hovering right in front of us.



One of the highlights of the day, the Mustang, damn, is that a cool airplane or what. Used by the Us in days gone by, it used to be a remarkably fast and effective fighter plane.
When ever you see a single prop airplane with four propeller blades, that is an indication that the mentioned plane is very fast and very maneuverable. The pilot really entertained the crowd.



This little bi-plane is called the Boeing Stearman and is owned and flown by a well known aerobatics pilot of South Africa, Stu Davidson. Stu's son Patric just competed internationally in an aerobatics flying contest, and I speak under correction when I say I think he got 11th place overall. Not bad for a boertjie I would say.
The contraption you see on the top wing is a harness used to strap in any 'more guts than brains person' who is in the mood for wing walking. Just the idea gives me the shivers. I have actually seen a woman standing on the wing in flight on previous occasions. And yes, also in inverted flight. She must really be an adrenalin junkie.



Here is another plane dating from the world war two era, the Sea Fury. Note the four blade prop, same story, fast and maneuverable. I am not sure who this plane belongs to, but I know Stu Davidson also owns one, and believe me when I say, he knows what he is doing when he is in the cockpit of this extremely powerful plane. It has a 18 cylinder engine and is capable of 460 miles per hour or 740 km per hour. At the time that was more than likely the fastest single prop plane.




The Pilatus PC-7, the airplane used by the South African Air Force to train fighter pilots. Note again the four blade prop, very fast for a single prop plane and very effective as a trainer plane. Unfortunately there was always a crowd around it so I couldn't get a decent shot of it.



The L39 jet, also a trainer plane, used to train fighter pilots, but privately owned now. Not very fast as far as jets go, but fast enough to keep your attention.



Yolande and Jesse at the Yak, a two seater plane also privately owned. Here you can see a twin blade prop, this plane is very slow, and not all that maneuverable.
Jesse loves planes as much as I do, needless to say, just look at the expression on his face.



Amore, Jesse and Yolande at the Cessna, Jesse was not impressed as we were on our way out and he wanted to stay.... but as you can see, Yolande was wearing heels, and she'd had enough of standing and watching planes.



Well I guess that is it for today, I know this has absolutely nothing to do with fashion, but in all honesty, airplanes and flying, (not me flying, please take note) are my first passion, pity we don't have an airshow every weekend. (MAYBE A GOOD THING, MY WIFE WILL DIVORCE ME)

SLEEPING PILOT.

I thought this should more or less give you an indication as to why I'm not particularly fond of flying, to put it mildly.

No, that was not me in the back seat, but had that been me, I would have been in serious need of a clean pair of undies. Oh and the pilot would have been rushed to hospital. That is not, and I repeat, not the kind of joke to play on anyone.

FASHION: AUDRINA PATRIDGE LOOKING FASHIONABLE.

A young lady that I find quite fashionable and lovely is Audrina Patridge. Audrina Cathleen Patridge, born 9 May 1985, is an American television personality, actress and model. Maybe I should tell you this, and it might surprise those who sort of know me by now, she has one feature that I think is very special! No, not her legs, haha, her eyes... that sleepy kinda look, kinda come hither eyes... now make no mistake, her legs are beautiful, and she dresses extremely sexy, but I just love her eyes. Those are the kinda eyes that, when she looks at you, you feel like a puppy dog that got fed a pinch of poison, your heart goes on a wild gallop and your throat kinda pulls tight...haha...knees go kinda wobbly... you know the feeling?



Looking bright, love the red lip color. I will not stick my neck out and say the dress is really special, but she wears it well.



Proof that she has beautiful legs, and of course her figure has all the right curves in all the right places. Now I will stick my neck out, the dress she is wearing in this pic is absolutely stunning and it really accentuates all her assets. (if you had told me that the shoe color would go with the dress color, I wouldn't have believed you, but seeing it, it actually seems to go well together.)



Proof that Audrina's got beautiful legs and beautiful eyes...I think those peep toe heels are a real bonus to her calves.

I however, have some more news I'd love to share with you. A few weeks ago I was the lucky winner of a beautiful necklace in a giveaway done by the lovely and kind Dena of Pretty Little Things.

MEGAN FOX VS ANGELINA JOLI.

One of my readers, Tris of The Girlie Blog commented and asked if I thought that Megan Fox will be the next Angelina Joli. Now I am not sure that Megan will ever be able to quite fill Angelina's shoes, but I thought it would make a great discussion, so I am going to put the question to my readers. What do you think, is there any chance for that? Will Megan be able to get the same recognition as Angie?

Let's take a look at Angelina, first of all, and this is purely my opinion, but, she has a class of her own, I am sure, had she not been a well known celebrity, she would be one of those people who walks into a room and she immediately gets every one's attention.

Angelina looking lovely, wearing a shortish dress and sexy high heeled, peep toe shoes. Now I do not know about you, but I think she will have to put on a few pounds...



I couldn't help it, I just had to add this picture of Angelina and my childhood hero, The Dirty Harry detective, Clint Eastwood.



This to me is Angelina like I used to remember her, a really stylish girl. (carrying a little more weight) Don't you just love the dress, the high heeled peep toes, and what catches my eye is the red handbag matching the red toe nails and red shoes...



Now in my opinion, Megan Fox on the other hand, is more sexy, a sudden kind of sex appeal.... a sex appeal that kinda bumps into you.

If I had to, shall we say, risk my neck, I would venture to say, the guys and younger girls will vote for Megan, the more mature ladies will vote for Angelina.

SEXY LEGS IN HIGH HEELED SHOES - THE PIGALLE!

I cannot say that I am a fan of any one specific shoe manufacturer, some shoes of some manufacturers are great looking and really sexy, some are really hideous, some are kinda in between.

However, if there is one shoe that I think is by far the best shaped court shoe, or pump as many prefer to call it, it is the Christian Louboutin Pigalle! It is the one shoe which in my opinion, can compliment just about any pair of legs and feet.

And I am not the only one who has this opinion, I am in excellent company when I say this. Most celebrities have worn a pair of Pigalles once or twice, and mostly more often in their lives, be that on the red carpet, or off, and some have been wearing them on a regular basis.

Take a look at Victoria Beckham, quite an old pic, wearing a silver pair of Pigalles on the red carpet. Now I am not crazy about her hair style, but I am sure you will all agree with me, those heels adds loads of sex appeal to her legs.

Why you may ask is the shoe so popular and so sexy?
My opinion, it is kinda like a mini skirt, it reveals quite a lot, but not everything. It always leaves something for the imagination. Then also, same as a short skirt or dress, it compliments the legs...



Renee Zellweger, flaunting her legs, wearing a pair of black Pigalles.



One of my favorites as far as sex appeal goes, Megan Fox. Megan is wearing a pair
of gold colored Pigalles.

Now you pay some special attention to her left leg and foot. That shoe reveals a nice arch, which many regard as sexy. However, at the same time it also reveals a lot of toe cleavage, which other again regard as sexy. My personal favorite, take a look at the calve of her left leg, what I favor, a well shaped calve.



Even the younger celebs favor Pigalles, lovely Katy Perry, looking gorgeous, wearing a pair of silver colored Pigalles.

I would love to buy my wife a pair, however, it is financially way out of my reach. At roughly R8000-00 for a pair if my calculation is correct, that is a mite steep for me. And if the S A Rand keeps on weakening against the US Dollar, it might get closer to R10 000-00.

MARILYN MONROE.

She has been long gone, however Marilyn Monroe will stay in our minds, bill boars and on web sites for ages to come. A much talked about girl, even today still. Born Norma Jeane Mortenson, but later changed her name to Marilyn Monroe. She was born in 1926 and sadly died in 1962, long before most of you were born even. (I was one year old when she died) The official cause of death if I remember correctly, was suicide, however there are rumours that she got taken out by the CIA because of her relationship with John F Kennedy. But that is not why I am posting about her, some time ago, a good friend of mine, Dorothy of Womensselfesteem.com suggested I do a post on Marilyn. I never got around to doing it, but here we are.
To me Marilyn will always remain the sex bomb of years ago, and a real classic.
