SEXY LEGS AND OLDER CELEBS

I do apologize for my long absence but work is taking its toll, and further more, I had finished half a post, and then it just disappeared.

Anyway, more older celebs: Cheryl Ladd (60 this year) is my next choice of an older girl who makes heads turn, and turn girls a third her age green with envy.


Cheryl seen here with Jacklyn Smith, co star in Charlie's Angels. Now I had a huge crush on Jacklyn when she played in Charlie's Angels, but the movie Nightkill really made me "love" her. If I am not mistaken, she is a breast cancer survivor, which of course serves to have so much more respect for her.



Another one of my younger day crushes is heather Locklear, then the star of T J Hooker.



An older Heather, still stunning and sexy!



And then there is the golden oldie, Sophia Loren, she turned 77 on the 20th of September, 2011. Timeless old girl, and still able to make a room full of people hush when she enters.


I think that more or less proves my point that growing older does not mean you have to let yourself go. There are countless ways a girl can stay beautiful and sexy, and I don't mean botox.

I know of no law that dictates you have to let go when you reach a certain age. Do you?

So why does one see so many older ladies look so terribly old? Why, if you have everything working for you, do you want to look like a wet old bag?

Pamela is one girl that is not aging well, and only because she isn't looking after herself.




I have posted this photo before, but it is an excellent example of Pamela not caring for herself. It beats me why one doesn't always wanna look one's best. Now I am not saying you have to dress up at home, (although I think I am spoiled, my wife always looks her best, even at home) but to appear in public like this? I think it is shocking.




A perfect example of a girl that goes out of her way to look after herself, Cindy Crawford. I have never seen her looking any less than her best. Will you believe me if I tell you that Pam and Cindy is just about the same age, one year difference to be exact, and Cindy is older. If you look at the pics you will never say that.



Another girl who looks after herself well, Michelle Pheiffer. And she is a '58 model, a decade older than both above girls. I see a stunning girl, who cares about herself.



Dana Delaney, a '56 model, still looking stunningly beautiful and sexy.


So what does the law say about getting old(er). Always dress to impress, there is no law against long hair, short sexy dresses, high heels, make up and great hair styles.

I have to say one thing in Pam's favor though, she still has the legs, even if the ID drops a mite. And she is not shy to flaunt them.


Before I forget, the MysteryMouth in my previous post, very few got her right, but those sexy legs belong to none other than Audrina Patridge.

LOSING THAT LOVIN' FEELING?

Just visited my good friend Dorothy of Womensselfesteem blogspot. Her last post is about why couples lose interest, or that loving feeling.
It made me think, why?

I am no expert, but picture this, you look at your partner and there is no spark. What do you do, you still love him or her, but the flame is burning mighty low, little or no spark left.

From a man's point of view, or should I say my point of view, boring routine, same thing everyday could be the reason. You get up, you go to work, you come home, you eat, you sleep, you get up, you go to work...blah blah, blah fish paste. You basically live right past each other.
There is no excitement in the relationship anymore, no flame, no spark.

All is not lost, there is a way to get it back. How you ask. Again, this is purely my opinion as a non-expert.

My solution: Go back in time, go back to what you have done those many years ago when you were dating. Start dating again, make appointments, meet each other for a romantic dinner. Example: dress up like you used to when you were still dating, like when you still tried to impress him with your best assets. But do not dress together, dress at different venues, meet each other at the restaurant, or night club, or where ever you used to go when you were younger.

Be bold, be adventurous, daring, dress to impress, be an eye catcher, kick ass sexy. If you plan to meet at a night club, sit at different tables at first. Make eye contact, flirt, ask him to dance, use your imagination.

Go home in separate cars, the girl first, wait for him, open the door for him dressed like this....



Or like this...


I'll bet my bottom dollar you will have his heart beating at a fast canter, his breath catching in his throat, and soon he will be all over you! And for the next week he will have you, and only you on his mind.....and more than likely planning the next adventure.

Secret to this is, both parties have to be willing. You need to work together, communicate. This is but one example, there are many other, go away for a dirty weekend, make a date by calling him at work and invite him for a romantic dinner, etc, etc.

Bottom line is, get away from the everyday routine and start living again. Bring that adventurous spirit you had as a young couple, back into your relationship. You are only as old as you allow yourself to be. I am turning 50 in a few days, and the spark is still there, we believe that breaking the routine is very important to keep a relationship hot and moving. However, and I think it is important to keep this in mind, it is not always easy, we have two kids, both of us work, just like any other couple, but we make sure that we fit those alone together quality moments into our schedule, even if only once a week.

FASHION, MYSTERY SEXY LEGS AND THANKS.

I guess it is time for a new post. First of all I would like to thank everyone for the support and sweet comments I got regarding my "terrible" English. You guys made my day, and I guess my ego will survive yet another day... :)

The mystery legs? Well not even Stiletto lover of Hottestheels could get this one, and believe me she knows her legs, because this is the first time I caught her without a clue. However, I have to admit this one was very tough.

This is the girl who those legs belong to. Now as I've said, to me she is not stunningly beautiful, (Sorry Fergie, but that is just my opinion) but she always dresses fashionably and very sexy. She really does have well shaped, sexy legs, and always wear the high heels to emphasize her calves . I have yet to see her in flats....



I think it is only fair to say this, and to me it is merely a matter of personal taste, her hair in this picture actually changes her appearance completely. Don't you agree with me. I know I should not compare, I won't tell if you don't, she looks almost like Sandra Bullock in this particular photograph. And all it is, is the change in hair style. Pity she doesn't wear it like this more often. She really does look stunning with her hair like that.

A GOLDEN OLDIE.

After reading a post written by my old friend Keith of The Dino Lounge just before the weekend, and as a result of some advice from Jackie of Painted Veil I got me an idea to do a post on one of the golden oldies. She was born long before any of us, she could have been the great, great granny of most of us, yet she still carries herself with such style elegance and dignity.
Sofia Villani Scicolone, better known as Sofia Loren, was born in Rome on the 20th of September 1934.

Looking at this pic of her in hot pants and high heels, flaunting a figure to die for, I can't help but wonder what she would think if she had to look at it now, surely it will bring back a hole heap of great memories.



As a kid, I used to, and even today still I admire her true beauty!

A not so young anymore Sofia, dressed in a red dress and high heeled sandals, looking steaming hot, sexy and stunningly beautiful.



Had that been my car, I would have had a heart attack! A very young Sofia sitting a dent into, and scratching the paint off with her high heeled shoes, of what looks like some rich dude's Aston Martin's hood.

Nice pics of her are unfortunately very hard to come by, but here is a last one of her when she obviously was very young still.



I think, and this is purely my opinion, she got more beautiful in her late 30's to early 40's, she was not that good looking when she was very young, but that is open to discussion. Please feel free to disagree with me.... I know some cannot wait to do just that.....

WANNA CATCH THE EYE?

I believe every woman has the ability to look stunning, no matter what. The other day on the Oprah show they interviewed a lady of color at her home. Now this lady was a married, totally unattractive, overweight, not so young anymore, low self esteem, person, a complete nobody, hair in a tight pony tail, (so tight she couldn’t close her eyes) thick, dark rimmed glasses, with no account attire, and in her own opinion, nothing to look at.
Almost like the celeb in this picture, do you recognize her? If not, I will show you later who she is.



Oprah rushed her off to the studio where a team of experts worked her over for a while. When finished, she glided out into the studio, like she was walking on air, even her husband had trouble recognizing her. She looked stunningly beautiful and sexy, dressed in the most beautiful gown, hair wild and curly, no glasses, make up brilliantly done, almost a brand new personality....looking better than a few celebrities on their best days.
My point - If they can do that to said lady, (if only you could have seen her before the make over) you or someone you know, can do that for you!! I wish every lady who thinks they don’t have what it takes to catch the eye, could have seen that show.
I’m going to post a few pictures of celebrities who also look like a nobody when they haven’t had their make over yet.
Then you decide, are you going to remain a nobody, or do you want to catch the eye!

Now this is what the first celeb looks like when she has been worked on. She is the girl on the left, Adriana Lima, featured on my blog before.



Would you have recognized this young lady? Be honest!



Same lady, and if you recognized her without her second face, congratulations! I don't think I would have, and she is one of my favorites, Megan Fox.



And this is the girl on the phone, yes the one with the cap.



My point being, if you thought you are not worth it, or not smart enough, or skinny enough, or not pretty enough, you are dead wrong my girl, just put your mind to it, it is possible, if the ladies I use as examples could do it, then you CAN do it too!!

DO YOU MAKE A STATEMENT?

I have a few questions for you, do you make a statement when you leave home? Will you make people take a second look? Impress guys? Or gals for that matter? Do you have that kind of pizazz that draws attention to you? For the right reasons that is...
Again, I am not referring to your facial features, God made us unique, and there is nothing on earth we can do to change that, but do you make the best of what you were given?
So, let's take a look at some celebrities and you decide if they look exciting.

Here is a picture of Mandy Moore, now I am not going to say what I think right now, you compare and you decide who looks striking and makes a statement and who not. I just want to add, some girls are soooo damn beautiful, but their dress sense is up to..s..yes, you know what I mean...

Take a look at Chanelle Hayes....does she make a statement? Is she using what she got to the best of her ability..?



Good old sexy Pam, now in my book she makes a statement, even when she goes shopping....



Jen, in my book needs to add a little color....but that is just my humble opinion, what do you think?

I am going to leave it up to you to decide who you think makes a statement and who uses what they were born with.

THIS JUST DOESN'T GEL!

Some things in life just don't gel, so I have posted photographs of celebrities, and some things in these pictures are just not right. Again, I would like to stress, it is no attack on the celebrity, it is either the way she dresses or the way she wears a certain accessory.

Let's take a peek at Madonna, this picture caught my eye for the wrong reason. As I am sure you all know I am a fan of high heeled shoes, but some are just not fit to be worn in public, and this pair is one of those, they are hideous....I cannot believe that anyone could even bother to spend money buying them!



The picture down here of these two ladies also caught my attention, now I do like make up, to be honest, I'm quite passionate about it, but don't you think this is a bit too much lip color? Both of them.... The eyes look a might pale as there is very little or no eye shadow, but the lipstick was applied generously, too generously I'm afraid. Another thing, sometimes stockings or pantyhose, which ever you'd like to wear, looks sexy with sandals, but heaven forbid, not with these sandals, or those pale stockings.... it looks terrible! But as I always say, that is just my opinion.... Even the dress is a might too busy for me, just too much fancy stuff, pockets and frills.... What do you think? Be honest now....



Not a great way for kicking off the new year, but now that that is off my chest and just to illustrate to everyone what I think a girl should look like, here is a picture of one of my favorites.
