SEXY LEGS AND AWARDS.

Now ain't this special, my good friend Bill, author of Beautiful Celebrity Women! thought it wise to pass an award on to me, the Stylish Blogger Award. Thanks Bill, I am honored. I have been called a lot of things in my life, not all of them flattering, but stylish is one name that has never been given me. :) I really do appreciate it.

This is what the award looks like!


I am suppose to let you in on some of my secrets, 7 to be exact.

Then I am supposed to pass it on to 15 other bloggers whom I think deserve this. Problem is, all the bloggers that comment on my site, deserve this award.

Anyway, let's start with the 7 facts about me.

1. I was a police detective for almost 23 years of my life. In those years I have seen the best, but also the worst of life, but I never regretted doing it. I have gained life experience in those 23 years that the average person will not experience in 80 years. I still get nightmares, and even though I do not anymore battle with insomnia per se, I cannot sleep in. I am up just about every morning by 4, and only get back to bed after 10 at night.

2. I always said I will never marry, but I lied coz I married when I was 34. That was my first marriage, big mistake, had no brains yet, so got divorced in 2000, and then married Yolande in 2005. I have brains now.

3. I love action and good western movies, and movies that involves flying or airplanes. Pearl Harbor with Kate Beckinsale my favorite.

4. I am now retired, and make a living by investing in property to rent. A friend of mine and I are writing an e-book at the moment, called Property Investment for Dummies. It is almost ready to release. I will post it on my blog as soon as it is available.

5. I hate flying, yet I love airplanes, I can watch them for hours, and my favorite pass time is to sit at the airport and watch them land and take off. (silly I know, but as one gets older, you become more and more like a child...hehehe....)



6. I never wanted kids, but my wife wanted a little boy. Now that he is a reality, I cannot imagine life without him. We were truly blessed, and I am truly grateful for being blessed with a wonderful family.

Yes, it was cold and wet!





7. I spend too much time in front of my pc, but I love what I am doing. You tell me, which blogger does not spend too much time in front of his or her pc?

I guess that is it, I have opened my heart to you guys, now every one of you that feel he or she has the urge to do so, grab the award, and let us in on some deep down secrets of your life.

Thanks again Bill, now that I have those 7 things off my chest, I feel a whole heap better. :)

FASHION, SEXY LEGS AND ACCESSORIES.

I have been contemplating on doing a post on what accessories can do for a girl's appearance and image. Seems like today is the perfect day for that.

AnnaLynne McCord is one beautiful celebrity who in my opinion always does her best to look great. Now surely you will agree with me that had she gone without the ear rings and bracelets, her appearance would have been a mite pale. I have to add in the same breath, without contradicting myself, that the dress is not your ordinary dress, so maybe she would still have looked great. Fact remains, she looks just so much more colorful with mentioned pieces of jewelry. I am however of the opinion that a nice necklace and a thin belt would have added that little extra finishing touch and style.



Hats? I have to admit, I do not like just any hat, but the hat my wife Yolande is wearing in this pic looks great, and she looks great wearing it. This outfit was for a special country and western dance. I love the cowgirl look!



I rather fancy a nice necklace, whether chunky and rough, or dainty and feminine. By the way, I stumbled across this web site where the nicest jewelry can be found. Anna Faris drawing attention to her....eeehm..... assets by wearing a very dainty necklace. I think it serves to emphasize her femininity. What do you think? (click on the image to zoom!) Not that she needs any help in that department.




Talking of which, My Jewelry Box also has the nicest gold necklaces like the one featured in this picture. This particular necklace, one of several available on their site, is 14 K gold and 20 inches long. I think the pattern in the chain is really something else.



Now you just imagine that necklace around your neck, just feel the satiny cool gold caressing your skin....

A perfect example of a girl looking stunning with accessories, is Heidi Klum. Love the ear rings, and the bracelets add a lovely finishing touch.
I think it needs mentioning that those high heeled peep toes are a bonus, they really shape her legs. I do apologize, I just never miss a sexy leg... :) And I just love a long dress with a slip like this one.



Here is another example of a beautiful gold necklace, this is a 18 inch, 14K yellow gold rope chain. A girl can brighten up any outfit by wearing this baby around her neck.



Here is a 'test your knowledge' picture, who is this lovely girl? I am absolutely nuts about her curly hair. A few hints, her hair is not normally that curly, and she has featured on my blog before. Oh, and she has a stunning sister whom she is seen with a lot. I have to honestly say I would not have been able to ID her on just that, but I have some very clever and knowledgeable readers.

TATTOOS - GOOD OR BAD?

Lots of people, like tattoos, including celebrities, and that include ladies also. I have no idea why people fancy tattoos, and I'd like to know how you feel about it. I personally do not favor them, and there will be a cold day in hell before I will have one done on myself. But, somehow a tattoo on a guy, in my opinion, is more acceptable than on a girl. Don't you agree?

Take a look at Marisa Tomei, a tattoo on the foot, and no, it doesn't look terrible, but not great either.



My all time favorite, Megan, I think I read somewhere she has about 13 tattoos on her body. Granted, they do not look bad, nicely done, but what if one day she doesn't want them anymore? How will she ever be able to erase them without a trace? Marked for life....?



Amber Tamblyn, again, not a bad looking tattoo, still....



Alyson Hannigan, first time on my blog, flaunting a tattoo just above her ankle.



Last one, and you will have to take my word for this one, these feet belong to Alyssa Milano, also a first timer, such pretty high heeled sandals, complimenting her feet so nicely, but, and this is purely my opinion, it gets spoiled by the tattoo, and this tattoo I can honestly say, does not look nice.



Please, do not get me wrong, my blog is not about judging people, or bad mouthing anybody, or gossiping, it is a blog purely about opinions and how to improve appearances. So, do you think tattoos improve a person's appearance...? Would an extra piece of jewelery not have done the trick, a ring, a bracelet, a toe ring perhaps, ankle chain, nail varnish, extra color in the outfit, a different hairstyle? Something that can be removed or changed easily when you get tired of it....
