SEXY LEGS: WHEN ARE A PAIR OF LEGS SEXY?

Image via WikipediaWhen and why does a pair of legs qualify as sexy? A question I have been asked a few times. I have given it some thought and haven't come up with a easy or simple explanation, but I am going to allow you to decide if the legs I have chosen are sexy. By doing that, we might solve the problem.

Firstly, and this is not necessary my opinion, but from searches on my site, leggings play a major role. Leggings in the form of tights, fishnets and stockings. Most of my readers, as you know commented on my post referred to underneath, that fishnets are sexy.

So how about this pair of legs? Do they qualify as sexy? My opinion, yes they do. Why? Is it the stockings, or the way this lady sits, or is it the heels making them sexy? You tell me. I will venture to say it is a mite of all of the above.




How about Christina Ricci? Will you classify her legs as sexy in this pic?



How about her in this pic, which is more sexy? And why. My opinion? The second pic, and mainly because a nice pair of heels just always put more shape into a pair of calves. I think it will be fair to add that she does have really well shaped legs, even in flats.



Let's take another look at tights or stockings, Kate Hudson is a favorite of mine. So when does she look more sexy, when wearing tights..... and high heeled shoes?



Or looking casual like this? Now be honest, forget about the rest of the body, I know some people might find the belly button sexy, or what ever else, concentrate on the legs, ok?



How about this pic? I was shocked to see her looking like this. I actually had to look twice to make sure it really is her. I think she looks terrible in this pic.

FASHION = CONFIDENCE = SEX APPEAL.

This morning I visited a site of a young lady, whom, I might add, is just sparkling with confidence and sex appeal. Now I could find no evidence on her site that she is a celebrity of any kind, except in her own life and home. Carrie of HowDoesSheDoitMom.com tells us in no uncertain terms that any girl can be sexy and beautiful. Now you folks who have been regular readers of my blog will know that that is exactly my argument. She inspired this post, needles to say...

What is it that makes a girl sexy? Not what she wears, but how she wears it. If a girl feels great, she has confidence, confidence is directly related to sex appeal. And everyone notices.

A girl whom I think is just oozing sex appeal, is Penny Lancaster, the very sexy and stunningly beautiful wife of old man Rod Steward. She is now pregnant with her second child, just by the way. Now this pic of her speaks for itself. Confident and kick ass sexy. Beautiful dress, lovely wild curly hair, sexy high heeled sandals, and red varnish on her toe nails, 10 out of 10. Sexy legs too!! !\_



The fact that her hubby is much shorter than Penny is also, thankfully, not stopping her from wearing heeled, in fashion shoes either. (it doesn't seem to bother him, and it wouldn't have bothered me either had I been shorter than my wife, lucky for me I am taller, because she goes no where in flats.)




When most women look at a celebrity, it is with envy and sometimes even blatant jealousy. (come on, admit it!) Why? Cos in your humble opinion the celebrity is well build, sexy, beautiful, or what ever praise you wants to swing in her direction. My opinion, one mostly sees a celebrity in a picture that has been altered, just so she can look fabulous. If you peel off the wall and all and war paint, and you will find wrinkles, stretchmarks, cellulite, flabby thighs, etc, etc. You will find that you more than likely, look better than she does when she opens her eyes first thing in the morning, and I can proof that to you.

Does this prove my point? Is this what you look like first thing in the morning? Nah, I didn't think so.

Cindy Crawford has always been one of my favorites, and I have to add, she has loads of natural beauty, but looking at this pic of her on a day out, shopping or what ever, she looks pretty average to me, she might as well have been the girl living just down the street. Sorry Cindy, but even here she looks great.



What does that tell you? You can also look like that. I hear my wife complain, her thighs are too big, gun bags she calls them... or her boobs are too small, her hair is too straight... I can carry on, but most celebrities have the same complaints, only difference is, they have highly paid hair stylists that do their hair every day, they have time and money to go to gym every day, they have a bank balance to pay for plastic surgery and/or boob enlargements, and they have a professional photographer who can make them look fabulous in pictures.

Same Cameron Diaz, after the professionals who surrounds her on a daily basis, has done the necessary.



I can hear you say, "what does a man know?" You are forgetting something, we see you from the "other side", to me my wife is gorgeous, even if she doesn't believe me, and I am sure the guy in your life thinks the same of you.

I have developed a very special soft spot for this young lady. I think that what happened to her is terrible and I think all my readers will agree with me when I say that.

Cheryl Cole, the British singing sensation who is about to divorce a guy with rocks where his brain's suppose to be, deserves a little lime light on my humble site.
This dress she is wearing is stunning!



I am sure you will agree with me, she always looks great, dressed with elegance and style.
I think this dress really compliments her legs and waist. Very fashionable and chic.




One would almost think she is wearing a corset looking at her waist in this pic. What a figure.... Is it Paris Hilton behind her?



This is such a beautiful pic of her, love the hair, love the dress, love the heels. And she does have sexy, well shaped legs. To be honest, I think this is the most beautiful picture I have ever seen of her, absolutely perfect.



Although this picture will take a close second place, love the red and white combination.



She seems to be doing great in white, doesn't she look fabulous! My idea of a sexy dress, love the slit on the side!

FASHION - DRESSING SEXY.

A girl who shot up from no where, right into stardom is Katy Perry. Katy has just suddenly become a well known star with her song, "I kissed a girl" as you all know.
First pics I saw of her, she dressed more like a girl next door. Not sexy at all. I guess she was still new on the scene, and confidence was still lacking.



However, with time her confidence grew, she got bolder and started to dress with more sex appeal. Her body language in this pic says: "wow, look at me now!" In my opinion she is an extremely beautiful girl, I just love her smile, and even though that dress is dangerously short and revealing, (not the dress I would allow my daughter to leave the house with, haha...) she looks fabulous, and very, very sexy. A strikingly strong body language, loads of sex appeal, and no doubt, extremely feminine.



Another girl who used to dress pretty boring, and sometimes even quite sloppy, is Jennifer Aniston. Take a look at this pic, to me she looks pretty pale.



However, lately we see her dressing quite sexy, wearing really fashionable dresses and towering high heeled shoes. Could it be that she is trying to impress someone? Or has she just gained confidence again? Whatever the case might be, I am glad coz she really looks fabulous these days.



A girl who I have a soft spot for, and who I think always dresses very fashionably and sexy, is Heather Graham. I think this picture explains itself. Heather is a beautiful young lady, loads of sex appeal, and I have never seen a pic of her where she didn't look feminine.

FASHION: CONFIDENCE = SEX APPEAL.

I was pleasantly surprised at the kind of response I got on my last post. Which brings me to my next post's idea. Actually a single word both Audrey E and Antoine of Stilettostetico blogspot used in their comments on my last post got me thinking.

What gives a girl sex appeal? What makes her attractive to those who admire her, those around her? Her figure? Could be. Her facial features? Possibly yes. Her dress sense? Maybe. Her boobies? For a lot of guys definitely! Beautiful legs? Yep!

My opinion, and based on what Antoine and Audrey E mentioned in their comments, the key word is confidence. A woman can wear the most beautiful outfit, the best make up, the most expensive accessories, the highest heels, however, if she has no confidence, she will lack that final puzzle piece to portray true and obvious sex appeal.

See Alicia Silverstone in this picture, does she look confident? Not in my opinion, she looks almost scared, hesitant and unsure of herself. So, in my opinion, despite the fact that she is dressed very fashionably, she lacks real sex appeal.



Anne Hathaway, such a lovely dress, she looks stunning, fashionable, but she sadly lacks sex appeal. She looks kinda sorry to be there...like... "hhmmm, I am here...uhmm.....sorry, but....." very little confidence. Do you agree with me?



Does Christine Lakin have confidence, yep, heaps of confidence and loads of sex appeal. Fashionably dressed in a beautiful blue dress, make up not fantastic, but not bad either, stunning high heeled sandals, complimenting a pair of beautiful legs. I think the smile says a lot, and in this case, I would think, gives her the edge.



A woman I think never lacks confidence, is Ciara. She literally glows with confidence, and it is not difficult to understand why, she must have the best shaped legs in the whole of USA. Now the dress is stunning, and the heels do their part to shape those calves, not that the heels are really needed, but her confidence is her best asset. Ok, second best, I think her legs are her number one asset. She's got it, and she definitely flaunts it.... big time!



Let me demonstrate something to you just so I can proof my point, let's take a look at two different pics of the same celebrity. Jennifer Aniston, in this pic looks kinda hesitant and not sure of herself, she lacks confidence, hence, very little sex appeal, despite the sexy dress and heels.



Same Jennifer, different picture altogether, in this picture she is kick ass sexy! Loads of sex appeal, elegant and vibrantly stylish. Why, you ask... Because she literally glows with confidence. Pay special attention to the smile, but also the walk, her posture, all signs of confidence.



Does Jullianne Hough lack confidence? Not a bit, actually I would classify her as a little over confident, almost too much in my opinion. Yes, she does look sexy, but in this specific picture she goes a little over board.



Last pic, someone who doesn't lack confidence, nor sex appeal, Megan Fox. She literally sparkles with sex appeal, actually an almost bad ass kinda sex appeal. She is the kind of girl who enters a noisy function, and suddenly it is quiet, the smell of her perfume mixing with the air in the room, guys eyes out on stalks to admire her beauty.... the girls all suddenly turn green with envy... haha, gettin carried away here.... confident? No doubt! Sex appeal? Loads of it.

KIM KARDASHIAN

Looking at the comments on my previous post about dresses versus pants, those for pants were in the majority, but no males commented, so it was rather one sided... haha... I guess it is a matter of personal taste. So be it.

We move on, another stunning girl, and a girl I have also briefly featured in my previous post, the lovely Kim Kardashian. Kimberly Noel "Kim" Kardashian, born October 21 1980, is a well known model, actress, and television personality. In my opinion a truly beautiful and extremely sexy young lady. In this pic, very fashionably dressed, a shortish dress and high heeled sandals, looking fresh as a spring blossom.



Even when she's not really expecting cameras, does she look fabulous. Now Kim, in my opinion, has beautifully shaped legs. Even without heels, her legs look great.



However, with heels they are awesome! I rest my case about dresses and pants... How can she possibly look any better in a pair of pants? Come on, you tell me.... and yep, you guessed it, no pants in this post...!!


Ain't it funny how when someone takes a pic of you when least expected, you most of the time are doing something out of the ordinary, well here is one of those moments, obviously caught slightly off guard in this pic, yet stylish and elegant. Love that dress!



This to me is a stunning pic, fashion, and yet again, elegance and style combined....beautiful dress, make up done perfectly, and high stiletto heeled sandals, now I would have given her 10 out of 10, had her nails been varnished red... :-) so I give her 9 out of 10.



Last pic of Kim, a dress that is very much in fashion, and then obviously also very much a fashion shoe, a pair of Pigalle high heels. It would seem that she quite favor her Pigalles.

BEAUTIFUL LEGS - LAZY FRIDAY POST.

Where I am sitting right now, it is Friday afternoon, and I do not plan on working too hard from now till Monday, so I am going to do a quick post on some sexy, beautiful legs, and leave that for you to view over the weekend.

Something about Ali Larter in this picture that makes me wanna pay attention, she looks really beautiful and almost kinda innocent, but in a striking, kick ass sexy way... Am I contradicting myself here...?



I have a notion that Anna Faris is a favorite of just about every one of my readers, and seeing her in this picture, I am convinced, will confirm that notion. She looks really beautiful, stylish and definitely ultra classy. Her legs? Well I think she has really beautiful legs, and the high heels serve as a bonus, making her legs really shapely and sexy.



Fergie knows she has well shaped legs, (reason for this pose) and if a man favors good legs, his eyes will be out on stalks just so he can get a better look.....haha. Now I do not consider Fergie to be drop dead gorgeous, (sorry Fergie) but she knows how to dress in a way that compliments her best assets...being her legs, and she always looks classy and trendy. Now you take that blue dress paired with those killer heels, and you tell me she doesn't draw attention, and most of it to her lovely, beautifully shaped legs.



Jennifer Aniston can sometimes look a mite neglected, but I am positive, I have never seen her look as lovely as in these pictures. That dress is super sexy, love the slit, her hair and make up is perfect, and those high heeled, strappy sandals are really stylish and extremely sexy. Those calves are beautifully shaped, what more can I say, the picture speaks for itself. Even the nails are varnished!! Can it be coz Mr P is maybe available again soon....?? Well, why not, dreaming has never hurt anyone...



This picture of Rachel McAdams I think is strikingly beautiful, it really emphasizes her well shaped figure. Maybe the dress is a little too low cut, but everything is tucked away out of sight and safe, so I think she looks fabulous. Again the calves are whipped into perfect shape by those in- fashion and popular high heeled shoes.



Homework for the weekend, guess who these legs belong to. Come on, it isn't that difficult, there is only one pair of legs that can look like that when complimented by a pair of Pigalles. Tip, she is not young anymore, and no, it is not Kate Hudson or Kate Beckinsale..... that narrows it down to only a few hundred to choose from...lol.



Damn, reckon that is more than I originally planned on doing, so I am gonna stop here.

First lady on the "runway" is the lovely and very sexy Jacqueline of Fashion Snag site. Now I have to say nothing, the picture speaks for itself, she is a stunning young lady, dressed to kill! This outfit really compliments Jacqueline's curves and well shaped legs. The high heeled sandals definitely compliments her legs to perfection.




Another stunning pic of Jacqueline, this time outside wearing a mini and heels, again a very sexy combination, complimenting her legs.



A bonus picture of Jacqueline, the very first time I visited her site, this was the post that was on her site at the time. This picture immediately drew my attention, and for obvious reasons. I am sure you will agree with me, a stunning outfit, and a special bonus, you get to see her from both sides in the same picture. (I stole this one off her site)



A very lovely young lady whom I have known for a very long time is Tammy, owner and author of Forgetful Princess Blogspot.

Tammy sent in two pics, which I would love to share with you people. No doubt Tammy is a beautiful young lady, and the idea I got of her is that she is a mite shy and modest, but do not dare her to do something, coz she will do it, even if only to proof a point. (just my opinion, she can correct me if I'm wrong.)
