Not all girls are fond of dresses and skirts all the time, and I am sure men will understand that certain events, and sometimes the weather, subtly forces a girl to wear something more comfortable, like a pair of pants. So, here is a post for the girls who love jeans, or denims.

Now for those who read my blog on a regular basis, will know that I am a dress or skirt kind of guy, but a nice tight fitting jean on a lady will definitely get my attention, if it is a skinny jean, worn with a pair of high heeled boots or shoes, even more so.

When you hear the word Stetson, you just naturally think of the stetson hat, the very hat the western cowboys used to wear. Well the company Stetson has actually gone and build a huge business around the original stetson hat idea. Another example of a girl that looks mighty fetching in a pair of skinny jeans and heels, Kim Kardashian. But then, it is my humble opinion that she always looks stunning, no matter what she is wearing.

FASHION: TURN ON AND TURN OFF.

I had a very interesting request for a next post from my dear friend, Dena of Pretty Little Things. This is what Dena said:

"Colin I like to see more post from you on beauty seen by men, what do they find attractive in a woman when it comes to character and looks.

"What are the biggest turn off according to Colin?"

Mighty dangerous ground? Yep, it is, specially coz 90% of my readers are ladies.

I think men are more inclined to look at a girl's "outer" than her "inner" qualities.... first impressions anyway.

What I first look for in a girl is femininity, I like a girl that is soft, feminine and girly. She doesn't have to be drop dead gorgeous, or have a perfect figure. There are loads of less beautiful and less sexy girls out there that will catch the average male eye just as fast as the most beautiful girl in the world. (sometimes even faster, coz the most beautiful girl might think the sun is shining out of her backside, a major turn off!) Now to me there are certain things that are synonym with femininity, and again, this is my preferences. Long, well kept hair, color varnished nails, make up, a dress or skirt, heels, ear rings. You will notice that these are all things that a man is not suppose to use or have, or wear.

Let's look at Heather Tom, the perfect example of what a girl should look like. Now I specially love her hair.



Something else that catches my eye is confidence. Confidence in a nice way, not the "I know I am gorgeous and everyone else is ugly" kinda confidence, coz that is a major turn off. Not just to men.

Here is another example of what a typical girl should look like - hair perfectly done, nails painted, red lips, well dressed and heels. Now do not get me wrong, I know a girl cannot look like this all the time, but at least when you go somewhere with someone special, make an effort to look special.



Other turn offs, and I speak for myself here. Bad odors, no matter, male or female, man I wanna get sick when someone smells like an open grave. I think that is the most terrible turnoff for me.

When I look at a girl, first things I notice are her nails and hair. Long well kept hair to me is a bonus, and the same with nails. Nails with colored nail varnish on, and half the varnish is chipped off, YUK. Goo under the nails....bleeeh, terrible.

I have posted this pic before, but this is the perfect example of what a girl should NOT look like. If you zoom in on her one hand you will notice chipped nail varnish. If you zoom in on her feet, you will notice......uhm, don't rightly know what to call that, you call it what ever you like..... I just know, if I had to go somewhere with her, I'd politely ask her to walk some ten paces ahead of me, just so people don't think we are together.



Unshaven armpits and unshaven legs.... yuk! Another turn off.

You know, I think loads of people get divorced simply because people let go. The believe or attitude is, I am married now, I do not have to look after myself anymore, be that male or female. You got to keep looking great for your partner, no matter what. Your partner must be proud to go places with you. Make small changes, not so your partner would ask, "who the hell are you?" but something that will make your partner take a second look at you, or make your partner fall in love with you over and over again.

I hope that answers Dena's question, and I know I am going to get loads of flak from some readers, I am not going to mention any names, haha... but this is my opinion, take it or leave it. I am in the fortunate position that I married a girl that has all of these good qualities, so it is possible to be like this. And believe me, she will not go anywhere if she doesn't feel dressed properly, or if her hair isn't perfect. I reckon pride has a lot to do with it also.

FASHION - WELL DRESSED LADIES.

Who would you classify as the best dressed celeb? I am going to post a few pics of girls whom I think are well dressed, and you are welcome to make a few suggestions or correct me if you think I am wrong.

First off is Victoria Beckham. I can honestly say, I do not always agree with her hair style, but no one can deny it, she always dresses very well. I might add, I love her hairstyle in this pic....




Two birds with one shot, Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge. I think both of them dress very fashionable and elegantly.



Blake Lively always looks fabulous. Now I do not think she is drop dead gorgeous, nor do I classify her legs as extremely well shaped, but she always dresses very neat, and her selection of heels tend to make her legs appear very sexy. I think this pic speaks for itself.



Dita von Teese doesn't smile often when her pics are taken, but one thing you can say about her, she dresses extremely well, and her make up is always done perfectly. I love the red lips! But you know that already....



Ahaaa, and my favorite.... the best dressed female celebrity of all time.... the lovely and beautiful Kate Beckinsale. Even when she goes shopping, she is dressed in her Sunday goes to meetin' clothes. What a stunning lady....!



Another Kate I think dresses very well, Kate Hudson. I think this dress speaks for itself. I think it takes a whole heap of guts to go out in a dress like that.



Last, but by no means least, also one of my favorites, although I haven't posted about her for a while, Petra Nemcova. Love her style, and she always dresses very very sexy and fashionably.



Well, my money is on Kate Beckinsale, which girl do you think dresses best? Or do you wanna add a few to the list?

FASHION: AUDRINA PATRIDGE LOOKING FASHIONABLE.

A young lady that I find quite fashionable and lovely is Audrina Patridge. Audrina Cathleen Patridge, born 9 May 1985, is an American television personality, actress and model. Maybe I should tell you this, and it might surprise those who sort of know me by now, she has one feature that I think is very special! No, not her legs, haha, her eyes... that sleepy kinda look, kinda come hither eyes... now make no mistake, her legs are beautiful, and she dresses extremely sexy, but I just love her eyes. Those are the kinda eyes that, when she looks at you, you feel like a puppy dog that got fed a pinch of poison, your heart goes on a wild gallop and your throat kinda pulls tight...haha...knees go kinda wobbly... you know the feeling?



Looking bright, love the red lip color. I will not stick my neck out and say the dress is really special, but she wears it well.



Proof that she has beautiful legs, and of course her figure has all the right curves in all the right places. Now I will stick my neck out, the dress she is wearing in this pic is absolutely stunning and it really accentuates all her assets. (if you had told me that the shoe color would go with the dress color, I wouldn't have believed you, but seeing it, it actually seems to go well together.)



Proof that Audrina's got beautiful legs and beautiful eyes...I think those peep toe heels are a real bonus to her calves.

A real sweetheart, this is more than likely the closest to a perfect picture you can get, lovely dress, just luuuv her hair, sexy, fashionable dress, red nail varnish, red lips. What more can you ask for?



Well I'd love to know what you think about Audrina, she has done a few naughty pics, I know, but we all do things we are sorry about later, and who are we to judge? Least of all me.

I however, have some more news I'd love to share with you. A few weeks ago I was the lucky winner of a beautiful necklace in a giveaway done by the lovely and kind Dena of Pretty Little Things.

Today the parcel arrived, containing the stunning necklace in question. I had kept this as a secret, so you can imagine the surprise on my wife, Yolande's face, when I gave it to her. DRESSES AND SKIRTS.

I have been wondering what to post about next, then I read a post on the blog of Chloe, author and owner of My Favourite Things and I found something to write about. Dresses or skirts and pants.

Now as you should know by now, I love a beautiful, feminine leg. How on earth can you appreciate a leg when the owner of said leg is wearing long pants? I do understand that sometimes nature does not allow a girl to wear a dress or skirt, but when I see a girl, on a hot as hell day, wearing a pair of pants, I just wonder.... what was she thinking when she got dressed.

Let's take a peek at AnnaLynne McCord here, she has such nice legs, why hide them? And she is a stunningly beautiful girl, always, well almost always dressed fashionable.



Same girl, same legs, only you can see the legs this time... now don't you agree, those legs look a mite more fetching in this pic than in the one above. And make no mistake, the dress doesn't have to be so short you can see her name and surname, but around the knee or just above is great. Combine the dress with a pair of high stiletto heels, and you have a traffic stopping combination.



Here is another excellent example, this girl is hiding her best asset, ok, I know she has a beautiful face also, but she has beautiful legs, why hide them... do you recognize her?



Same girl, Audrina Patridge, same legs, only this time where one can see them, because she is wearing a beautiful dress. Her beautifully tanned legs out in the open where they can breath, and be appreciated by the millions of men who favor a nice leg! Bonus, they are complimented by a pair of thin strapped sandals, shaping her calves, extremely feminine! Something about Audrina, she has such sexy, sleepy eyes, they always tend to draw my attention, and in this pic, her red lips and make up, done to perfection. What more can I say, damn that is a beautiful picture of her...



Another girl who hides her assets in this pic, although I must say in her favor, she doesn't make a habit of it, Kim Kardashian.




Now isn't it a shame to cover those legs? Same girl, dress and fashion heels making the world of difference.



I just know I've opened a bee hive here, most girls just like wearing pants and I am going to get punished by a lot of girls, but I have been up the creek and over the ridge, so let's have your opinion. And give me carrots if you feel like it, I can handle it.
