On November 21, 2009 I did a post featuring a giveaway for Perricone. It concerned Cold Plasma, an anti-aging cream. The person who approached me for this giveaway was a gent by the name of Jordan Hill.
I have subsequently seen other bloggers also doing a giveaway for the same product.
Now my question is, has those people who won the giveaway received their prizes yet? Mine hasn't and had I not followed up on the matter, I never would have known. He further made a bold promise that I will receive a container of the same product if I'd add their URL to my link list, which I have done. Well, needless to say, nothing yet. (and my wrinkles have increased because of this.)
Another blogger whom I know has also featured the giveaway and he has also not received his container either. (as the devil would have it, he is the brother of my prize winner!)
I would love to hear from you, have you done a Perricone giveaway, has your winner received her/his prize, and have you received your tub because you added the URL to your link list?
E mailing Mr Hill, jordanh@brandingbrand.com has been unsuccessful as he just naturally does not reply to my mails. Have you had the same experience, because if you have, I think we should take it further. It is a hell of an embarrassment doing a giveaway, (first one for me) and then the prize winner does not get her prize.
Please let me know, coz I'd really love to 'jump on Jordan Hill's chest!'

I have worked with Jordan on numerous occasions and have never had a problem... Contact him again and hope for the best; maybe he is just totally swamped right now?

Thanks CC, it is not just mine that he doesn't reply to, it is also another blogger who is battling to get response from him.
I have mailed his company, will see what happens. It does not say much for his reliability if he takes that long to honor his promise. Least he can do is reply to an e mail.

I personally don't do a giveaway unless the product is in my hands. That's really messed up and makes you look bad. I'd be steaming! As I'm sure you are. Hope it eventually gets there and if it don't then hope your readers understand:)

V, yes I am fuming.. but for the record, I have sent a mail to their office from their site, will see if something happens.
Fortunately the girl who won on my giveaway, well her brother has also done a giveaway on the same product, and the exact same thing happened to him, so, yes she understands.

Oh dear me! I sincerely hope this gets worked out. I won the Perricone prize on someone else's blog, and now I'm worried I may never receive!
As someone who also holds giveaways on my blog, I can't imagine how mortified I'd be if a winner never got their prize. It's just bad business and runs the risk of giving Perricone a bad name in the fashion industry.
Maybe you could try writing the company directly instead of their PR people? Perricone deserves to know if their PR folks aren't honoring their promises.

that sucks! i haven't done a perricone giveaway because frankly i think its kinda weird that EVERYONE and their mother is doing one...but regardless people should get their goodies.

I noticed the same thing. It seemed like everyone was having a Perricone giveaway. Now it just seems like their PR dept. was taking advantage of "free" publicity. That's going to leave a bad taste in people's mouths...

i hope you do get to contact him; i won a giveaway about 6 months ago & have never received the prize even after constant follow ups via email. i just let it go since it's not like i paid for anything. lol
